Tactical Combat Casualty Care, or TCCC, is a three-phase approach to casualty management that is taught during multiple periods of instruction at boot camp.

TCCC teaches the necessary to ensure lifesaving treatment can be rendered in the absence of a corpsman and improve the survivability of those wounded or injured in combat whenever necessary.

Recruits are tested on their ex*****on of TCCC during a final practical application test that is timed and monitored.

Legacy lives on. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

For Staff Sgt. Ryan Hill, becoming a was about more than earning the title, it was about carrying forward a legacy that began generations before him.

His grandfather, Sgt. Francis Leroy Hopkins, was one of the original who broke barriers and paved the way for future generations of Marines. Decades later, Hill now serves as a Senior Drill Instructor, passing on the same values of honor, courage, and commitment that shaped his family.

The (MCMAP) teaches and recruits the mental and moral resilience through realistic combative training and physical conditioning.

uses a five-level belt system that advances from basic techniques to , high-level, combat techniques. Each belt requires a specific number of training hours and gets increasingly difficult, preparing Marines for combat by developing physical and mental toughness.

Pushing Limits One Obstacle at a Time! ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿช–

One of the many challenges face during boot camp is the obstacle course, or O-Course. It is built to test, develop speed, agility, endurance, and mental toughness. The course pushes recruits beyond their limits.

Obstacles include log hurdles, wall climbs, rope ascents, and high bars, all designed to prepare for future demands.
