Northbrook Elementary School, Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD

Yesterday we celebrated a wonderful member of our Blazer family, Mr. Wilson, as he prepares to retire! Mr. Wilson has been a teacher at Northbrook for 17 years! We are so excited for the next part of his journey, but will miss seeing him at Northbrook every day!

Our last CREST value home visits got rained out last week, but we still celebrated with our students at school. These students were voted by their grade level teachers as the student that best represented all the CREST values in their respective grades! We are so proud of these Blazers!

Tonight our PACE students had their Evening with the Experts in the Northbrook Library. They did an amazing job on their displays and gave very informative conversation to everyone that visited their table!

Today our teacher’s ended the field day festivities with the annual inflatable race for our Blazers!

Our Blazers have spent the last two mornings playing and having fun at Field Day!

This evening we hosted Ready, Set, Kinder! We cannot wait to welcome these Blazers back in August as Kindergartners!

Over the last couple of weeks we have celebrated some amazing Blazers. We continued tonight by honoring Amy Cunningham for 20 years of service to EMS-ISD and Drew Wilson for his upcoming retirement!

Today we celebrated student growth in achievement, academics, and perfect attendance with our first pep rally! The top two students in each grade level for achievement and growth as well as all the students with perfect attendance this year were the guest of honor! The Saginaw High School Drum Line got the celebration started for us. They even had former Blazers on the line! We continued with minute to win it games. The pep rally ended with the guests of honor spraying silly string all over Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Villarreal!
