TRE riders: new schedules take effect June 8.

To support increased travel across North Texas this summer, Trinity Railway Express will operate special schedules from June 8 through July 19, 2026.

One of the biggest changes: TRE will offer Sunday service during this period.

Whether you’re commuting, heading downtown, or exploring the region, we encourage riders to review schedules in advance, especially on matchdays when trains may be busier than usual.

A portion of the CentrePort Station parking lot will be closed from May 31 to August 1 in preparation for the upcoming global games.

Please remove any vehicles from the indicated area prior to Sunday, May 31.

Even if you’re not heading to the matches… your commute may still be impacted. ⚽🚆

Beginning June 14, transit systems across North Texas are expected to see increased ridership as visitors travel throughout the region for World Cup matches and events, especially along the TRE corridor.

Regular Trinity Metro and TRE riders will continue to be accommodated, but riders are encouraged to:
• Plan ahead
• Allow extra travel time
• Check service updates before riding
• Download GoPass for alerts and trip planning

Learn about proposed September changes to the CentrePort Circulator, which entail the discontinuation of the Amon Carter and East Loop segments due to low ridership.

Trinity Metro will offer free rides for voting on all local services today - Tuesday, May 26, 2026- for the Primary Runoff Elections. Customers who are riding to or from the polls are eligible for free rides on Trinity Metro buses, Trinity Metro On-Demand services (including paratransit) and TEXRail. Free rides also include Trinity Railway Express (TRE) stations in Tarrant County, including CentrePort.

To obtain a free ride, customers should notify their driver or train conductor that they are traveling to or from a voting location. Check the list of voting locations to find your best option.
