In honor of National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week starting tomorrow, we celebrate and honor the hardworking public safety dispatchers who keep our communities safe and connected every day. Their dedication and tireless efforts to ensure our safety and wellbeing does not go unnoticed. Those who serve our communities as public safety dispatchers are in-fact extraordinary human beings. Day in and day out, our dispatchers help those in our communities who are experiencing tumultuous events and personal crises. Our dispatchers also serve as the lifeline for our sworn officers in the field by providing information, resources, and patience on the other end of the radio. I would like to share my personal appreciation for the men and women serving as public safety dispatchers with the Fortuna Police and for all our dispatchers serving with our allied agencies. I definitely have the highest level of respect for you all. I am proud of each and everyone of you and have the utmost admiration for you all.
Please join us in honoring Public Safety Dispatchers.
