There's still time to trot! Mayor Gerry Friedel is running in the Fountain Hills Turkey Trot again this year to support Extended Hands Food Bank and invites sponsors to match his $500 personal donation. Last year, he raised more than $13,000; this year, he's aiming for $20,000. Thank you to all the businesses and individuals who have pledged so far and there's still time to sign up! The Outreach of Extended Hands Food Bank
Extended Hands Food Bank is proud to be the sole social service resource serving local communities in the Northeast Valley since 2004! Our mission is to serve our neighbors and eliminate hunger in Fountain Hills, Scottsdale, Fort McDowell, and Rio Verde. We assist during difficult times by not only providing food, but also hope for the future and relief from the stress of food insecurity.

Hunger in Arizona
America may be the land of plenty, but for 1 in 6 people, hunger is a daily reality. It isn’t just happening in "other" neighborhoods; it’s affecting our coworkers, our kids' classmates, and our seniors. Most of us interact with someone struggling with food insecurity every day – we just don't know it.

How to Make a Difference
We make it easy to donate and lend support, with different options. Learn how by visiting EHFB.org/DONATE. Our needs remain critical, and all donations are greatly appreciated and put to good use!
