We have classes this week in Gardnerville, Grimesland, Farmville, Fountain, Black Jack, and the NC Fire Chief’s Association on main campus. We are appreciative to have so many supportive partners.

Here is a picture from our Fountain course tonight on Traffic Incident Management (FIP-7000). If your station would like partner with us on your next station training, call the office at 252-493-7703.

We have the facilities, qualified instructors, and equipment to make your training a success.

Just wanted to pass on to the deer hunters in our area. NC Wildlife has put a freezer outside of our station for deer heads to be sent off for testing for Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD). They found a positive case in Edgecombe County and we agreed to let them put one here. All info should be inside the cooler with tags for you to fill out. If you should have any questions leave a message and I will have NC Wildlife give you a call.

On a lighter note, we want to congratulate Snoopy on enlisting in the US Air Force. Firefighter Badillo has been an integral part of our organization since 2023. We have the privilege of watching him grow from a timid kid that wanted to help his community to a young leader in our organization. He will be leaving this week to begin his career as an Airman working as a Pararescue (PJ) Specialist. Good luck and Godspeed to Snoopy!
