Emily has made it her personal mission to keep our officers well-fed with all kinds of delicious homemade goodies. And let us tell you… we are NOT complaining! 🤣

At this point, we’re pretty sure she’s trying to make sure none of us can pass a fitness test. 🍪🚓😂

In all seriousness, Emily, we cannot thank you enough for your continued kindness, generosity, and thoughtfulness. You are always thinking of us, and those little surprises mean more than you know!

🚨💙 A HUGE CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR VERY OWN OFFICER RYAN EDMONDS! 💙🚨

We are incredibly proud to announce that Officer Ryan Edmonds has been selected as a recipient of the Howell American Legion Post 141 Community Award! 🏆🇺🇸

This award recognizes first responders and educators who go above and beyond to serve, protect, educate, and strengthen our communities, and we couldn’t think of someone more deserving!

Officer Edmonds wears many hats here at the Fowlerville Police Department, serving as both a Police Officer and School Resource Officer (SRO). Whether he’s building relationships with students, mentoring our youth, participating in school events, organizing our Youth Police Academy, or simply being a familiar and friendly face in the community, Ryan continuously demonstrates what community policing is all about.

His dedication doesn’t stop when his shift ends, and the positive impact he has on our community, especially our younger generations, is something we are truly grateful for.

🍯🐻 Oh, bother! What a wonderful time! 📚💙

This past Tuesday, Chief Tyler and Chief’s Assistant Brie had the pleasure of representing the Fowlerville Police Department at the Great Pooh Read Aloud Community Readathon at the Fowlerville District Library as part of their Hundred Acre Wood Festival!

We may be used to reading reports instead of storybooks, but we’re always happy to trade a little police work for some Winnie the Pooh! 🚔📖🐝

A huge thank you to the Fowlerville District Library for inviting us to be part of such a fun event! We love opportunities like these that bring our community together and remind us that sometimes the simplest things make the sweetest memories. ❤️

As Pooh would say, “Sometimes the smallest things take up the most room in your heart.” 🍯

🚨 BOY, OH BOY… WE’VE BEEN BUSY! 🚨

Apparently we have some catching up to do, so buckle up for a little FPD photo dump/news roundup. 😂👮‍♂️💙

First up, a HUGE thank you to Andrea Banfield and her team for the awesome appreciation basket! It was packed with lots of yummy snacks, goodies, and all kinds of random fun items. Needless to say, it didn’t take long for everyone to start digging in. 😂 We are so thankful to be thought of and definitely appreciated the treats!

Next, a big shoutout to our good friend Joe for making us some AWESOME 3D-printed LEGO police guys! 👮‍♂️🧱 We’re not saying they’re our newest recruits… but they’re small, quiet, don’t complain, and apparently require very little training. 🤔😂

Then, because you truly never know what is going to show up at a police department… our mailbox became the newest location for Lost & Found: Fowlerville Edition. 📬😂 Someone turned in a pink phone AND a pink onesie that were found and wanted to make sure they made their way back to their owners. If either belongs to you, please contact us!

👮‍♂️ Officer Edmonds also got to spend some time with the kiddos at Learn and Grow, where he talked about what it’s like to be a police officer, showed them the patrol car, handed out stickers, and answered some very important questions from some of our smallest community members. 🚔❤️ We always love getting the opportunity to hang out with the kids!

And last—but DEFINITELY not least—a HUGE thank you to a local homeschool co-op that chose our officers for a service project and provided dinner for the officers working last Friday! 🍽️ Unfortunately, we didn’t get a picture (probably because everyone was too busy eating 🤦‍♀️😂), but we promise it was there…and it was DELICIOUS!

Between snacks, tiny LEGO officers, mystery pink lost-and-found items, school visits, and surprise dinners, we’d say it’s been a pretty good—and busy—couple of weeks around here. 💙

Thank you to everyone who continues to think of our officers and department. Whether it’s a meal, a gift, a kind word, or letting us spend some time with your kiddos, we truly appreciate our community! 🚔💙

🦆 Welcome to Fowlerville, Lucky Duck! 🦆

The Fowlerville Police Department was honored to be invited to the Lucky Duck’s soft opening this past weekend!

Chief’s Assistant Brie, Officer Masterman, and Officer Homa attended with their families and had the opportunity to check out this brand-new addition to our community. The food was fantastic, the service was wonderful, and the new space looks great!

We’re always excited to see new businesses invest in Fowlerville and become part of the community we are proud to serve.

A huge thank you to the Lucky Duck for inviting us and our families and for the wonderful hospitality. We truly appreciated being included in such a special weekend.

Congratulations to the entire Lucky Duck team on your opening! We wish you many years of success and look forward to seeing you become part of the Fowlerville community. 🦆💙

🚨 COMMUNITY CLARIFICATION 🚨

We are aware of information circulating that the Fowlerville Walmart was robbed. This is NOT accurate.

The incident was an attempt to a quick-change scam, not a robbery. There was no threat or danger to employees, customers, or the public, and there is no ongoing concern for the community.

We understand how quickly information can spread, so we wanted to clear up any confusion and make sure everyone has the correct information.

As always, please rely on official sources for accurate information regarding incidents in our community, NOT SCANNER CHAT LAND.

The Fowlerville Police Department has been made aware of scammers calling community members and making it appear as though the call is coming from our department’s phone number.

Unfortunately, scammers can “spoof” phone numbers, meaning the number displayed on your caller ID may look legitimate even when the call is actually coming from somewhere else.

⚠️ If you ever receive a call claiming to be from the Fowlerville Police Department and something doesn’t seem right, trust your instincts.

Hang up and call our department directly to verify the call. We are always happy to confirm whether an officer or staff member was actually trying to reach you.

Please do not provide personal, financial, or other sensitive information to a caller if you are unsure who you are speaking with.

When in doubt — hang up, call us, and verify. It is always better to double-check!

Please share this information with friends and family, especially those who may be more vulnerable to phone scams. 📱🚔
