Do you need a Halloween costume? Do you have old Halloween costumes sitting around, taking up space? The Library is hosting a Halloween Costume Swap from October 1st-October 31st.

All month long, donate your gently used and clean costumes or accessories for ages 0-100 to either branch, or stop by the Main Library to choose a costume to keep.

When we say ages 0-100 we mean bring your infant costumes! Bring your teen costumes! Bring your adult costumes! Halloween isn't only for children. Let's all share in the spirit!

Drop off locations: Main Library (Children’s Room) and McAuliffe Branch (Circulation Desk)

On Saturday, F***y Lora Artist brings Mano a Mano: Arias in Dialogue to the Main Library.

Enjoy the richness of Hispanic classical music with mezzo-soprano F***y Lora and chamber ensemble where beloved European opera arias are placed in conversation with extraordinary Spanish and Latin American works. Whether you're a lifelong opera lover or simply curious to discover something new, you're warmly invited.

This event is all ages. F***y believes "deeply in exposing children to live music and the arts from an early age. I know what that exposure can mean because it was part of my own childhood. If I hadn’t had those experiences, I might not be here today doing what I love."
