🏭🏗️ OCTOBER IS MANUFACTURING MONTH IN KENTUCKY!

Governor Andy Beshear has officially designated October as Manufacturing Month, recognizing an industry that plays a major role in Kentucky’s economy, communities and workforce.

And when we celebrate , we’re also celebrating Kentucky .

Ready mixed concrete is essentially manufacturing on the move. Every day, Kentucky’s ready mixed concrete producers carefully measure, batch and mix raw materials to manufacture a highly engineered product—then deliver it directly to jobsites across the Commonwealth.

And the manufacturing story doesn’t stop there.

Throughout Kentucky, companies manufacture precast and prestressed concrete, concrete pipe, concrete masonry products and other materials that become the foundations, roads, bridges, buildings, utilities and our communities depend on.

Kentucky manufacturing employs more than 260,000 Kentuckians and contributes $47.5 billion annually to the state’s GDP. The concrete industry is proud to be part of that manufacturing tradition—and proud of the men and women who manufacture the material that helps build Kentucky every day.

This Manufacturing Month, KCA salutes Kentucky’s manufacturers—and especially the concrete producers who prove that sometimes the factory has wheels. 🚛

🏆🏗️ GREAT TEAMS ARE BUILT BY GREAT COACHES.

On National Coaches Day, the KCA celebrates the coaches who do more than teach the game—they build character, confidence, discipline, teamwork, and leadership.

Just like any strong structure, a great team starts with a solid foundation. Coaches help lay that foundation by challenging people to improve, bringing individuals together around a common goal, and inspiring the next generation to reach their potential.

To all the coaches across who invest their time, energy, and heart into others: thank you for helping build stronger teams, stronger leaders, and stronger communities.

Happy National Coaches Day!

🍎🏗️ BUILDING THE FUTURE STARTS IN THE CLASSROOM.

On World Teachers’ Day, the KCA celebrates the educators who build something even stronger than : the foundation for our future.

inspire curiosity, develop skills, encourage creativity, and help prepare the next generation of engineers, contractors, technicians, skilled tradespeople, business leaders—and countless others who will build and strengthen our communities.

To Kentucky’s teachers and educators: thank you for laying the foundation, one student at a time.

Happy World Teachers’ Day!

☕🏗️ POUR IT STRONG. BUILD IT STRONG.

Today is International Coffee Day, and we’re celebrating two things that know a little something about keeping the world moving: coffee and concrete.

One gets poured into the cup.
The other gets poured into the forms.
Both are better when the mix is right.
And construction crews know you probably shouldn’t start the day without either. 😎

So here’s to the early mornings, fresh pours, strong mixes, and the hardworking people who turn both into something productive.

Happy International Coffee Day from the Kentucky Concrete Association! ☕👷‍♂️🏗️

Strong . Strong . Strong .
