Collins Lane Elementary Parents, students, and staff share a partnership in this learning process. Together we can develop the full potential of each child.

There are many ways that Collins Lane parents help and support this goal by volunteering, being room parents, participating in and supporting fund raising activities, and participating in our district's mentoring program. We encourage our volunteers to assist in instructional areas by reading to and working with individual students or small groups, by helping classes with projects, by sharing hobbies and talents. Volunteers assist in special projects – Field Day, musical productions and plays, and the yearly Student Art Show. They help teachers by running off copies of instructional materials, helping in the computer lab, assisting on Field Trips. Others help in the cafeteria or in the office with clerical tasks and greeting visitors. We thank all of you who are working to make Collins Lane a positive place for students to learn. We also encourage others to bring their time and talents to our school community.

👟 It’s time to clean out your closets and find all of those shoes you no longer wear! This week, 🖤 Altruismo is excited to host Finn’s Shoe Drive. Finn is a 9 year old boy right here in Franklin County that needs our help! Each shoe donated is combined with other shoes, weighed and raises funds to support Finn and his medical journey. The house with the most shoes brought in will win house points!! We cannot wait to see how many shoes we receive! Help the house of givers (Altruismo), GIVE to our community! 🫶🏽

👠*Shoes should be new or gently used. Shoes that are worn, broken or have holes cannot be used.
👞 Any size, style, gender, etc.
🛼 Roller-skates not accepted.
