Join us for an interactive introduction to the rich traditions and culture of Chinese tea. This one-hour program explores the history of tea, its mythical origins, and the six main categories of tea, while introducing participants to the art of gongfu-style tea brewing. The term gongfu refers to preparing tea with time, care, and effort.

Participants will have the opportunity to taste three thoughtfully selected teas, each paired with small treats such as matcha cookies and ube cookies. The program concludes with a live guzheng performance, a traditional Chinese string instrument, bringing together the themes of tea, music, and Chinese culture.
