Just a reminder that Franklin GEMS will be meeting at 11 o'clock next Wednesday, October 7th, at Fire station #2.
Our food focus for this month is soup and sandwiches.
Bear Moore will be with us from The Gym and will be sharing information about nutrition and exercise for seniors. No bingo this month. Hope to see you on Wednesday.

Reminder: Franklin GEMS will meet Wednesday, September 2nd at 11 o'clock
at Franklin Fire Station #2, FM 46 South.
Our food focus is family favorites.
David Machulka, Ruth Creason, and Don Ling will entertain us. They sing and play regularly at the New Baden Jamboree and other places.
We look forward to hearing them.

Reminding you that Franklin GEMS will meet next Wednesday, July 1st, at 11 o'clock at fire station #2.
A patriotic program will be presented by the Sonshine Strummers.
We are having hotdogs and are providing the wieners and buns and asking you to bring whatever you signed up for last month. If you didn't sign up, just bring something that goes well with hotdogs.

Debra Morris will be sharing information with us about handling scams.
We will also play bingo, so bring your inexpensive prizes.

Thank you to Mika with RCEMS for organizing our program today. Texas A&M Agrilife Extension presented CARFIT to help mature drivers find their safest fit. TXDOT provided CARFIT checks for Seniors. Great food, fun, fellowship and information!
