πŸΎπŸ’™ WILDCAT PHYSICS IN ACTION! πŸŽοΈπŸ’¨

Who knew a mousetrap could power a vehicle over 100 feet?! 🀯

Our Pendleton County High School Physics students put their creativity, engineering skills, and knowledge of physics to the test by designing and building mousetrap-powered vehicles!

The challenge was simple: The ONLY requirement was that each vehicle had to be powered by the mousetrap provided! πŸͺ€

With no other design restrictions, students had the freedom to think outside the box, experiment, and create their own unique vehicles.

πŸ† The winning vehicle traveled an impressive 103 FEET! πŸ†

What a great example of hands-on learning! Students explored force, motion, energy, and engineering while putting their problem-solving skills to work.

πŸ‘ We are proud of our Wildcats for their creativity, innovation, and determination!

πŸ’™πŸ€ Learning by doing β€” that’s the Wildcat Way! 🐾

For the SECOND YEAR IN A ROW, these young men earned their way to the WV State Golf Tournament in Wheeling! Not only did they make another trip to state, but they finished 6TH PLACE OVERALL β€” setting a NEW SCHOOL RECORD for Pendleton County! πŸ†πŸ‘

We could not be more proud of these young men! Their hard work, dedication, sportsmanship, and determination have made our school and community proud. The way they represented Pendleton County both on and off the course speaks volumes about their character.

πŸ’™πŸΎ PCHS ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT | MIKE MALLOW | CLASS OF 1999 πŸΎπŸ’™

As we continue celebrating , we're proud to spotlight Mike Mallow, a 1999 graduate of Pendleton County High School!

From his beginnings at The Pendleton Times to becoming a newspaper editor in Minnesota and a published author of six novels, Mike has built an impressive career in journalism, writing, and graphic design!

Despite living miles away, Mike continues to give back to his Wildcat roots! He redesigned our Wildcats logo in 2021, donated signs for our athletic programs, and shares his passion for writing with our students. πŸ’™

Mike is proof that no matter where life takes you, Wildcat pride never fades!
