Our office is aware of a scam that is going around Facebook that originally started back in 2020. In it, the poster claims to have inside knowledge about election workers marking on ballots and this "disqualifying" those ballots. This is not true and in Robertson County, your ballot is actually counted as soon as you place it into the ballot box before leaving the polls! This is just another reason why it's important to get information about voting directly from the source - us! If you ever have any concerns about things you see posted on social media, please call our office or contact the Office of the Texas Secretary of State!
