🐾 Meet Our New Long-Term Resident: Walter! 🐾

Pogo has officially been transferred to AARC Franklin, NC, and while we are so happy he has this new opportunity, that means we now have a new longest resident at the shelter — Walter. ❤️

Walter is a 10-year-old Husky mix who has been waiting for his forever family since June 10, 2026. And let us tell you, this sweet senior boy has plenty of personality!

Walter LOVES treats… and your food too! 😂 He also loves toys of pretty much any kind, but balls and fluffy toys are definitely some of his favorites. Give him a toy, some snacks, and a person to love, and Walter is a happy boy.

Walter would love to be the only pet in the home, because why share all that attention when he could have it ALL to himself? He’s ready to spend his golden years being someone's spoiled boy.

He has been waiting for far too long. Could you be the forever home Walter has been looking for? 🐾❤️

Stop by during our open hours to meet him and all of our adoptable animals!
