Took my Grandma to the polls today for the Franklin city elections!
In 2024, she voted for the first time in 16 years, and now she hasn’t missed an election since! After we finished today’s election, I took her home to help her with her absentee ballot for November 3rd.

If you haven’t voted in a while, it’s never too late, and there’s plenty of options to fit your needs!

Yesterday I stopped by my grandma's house and found that the lawn signs she'd put up for Ray Yonaitis and me had been knocked down and strewn across her front lawn. One of Ray's was torn in half, and one of mine was gone entirely. While signs blow over now and then, and sometimes get clipped by cars on the shoulder, this was clearly deliberate.

Civil discourse is something our community should cherish, and stealing or destroying someone's private property goes against it. Whatever side you're on, a neighbor's yard isn't the place to make your point.

That said, I'm never one to be deterred, so the new signs are already up, and in greater force! If you'd like a sign for your own yard, reach out, and I'll deliver it right to you.

Polls are officially closed! Thanks to everyone who came out to support today! It was great seeing Senator John E. Sununu, State Senator Dan Innis, Victor Orlando, and my own godfather and former sheriff Scott Hilliard throughout the day, but most of all to see all of the amazing voters of Franklin and Northfield! Thank you all for taking the time to come out and vote, and I’ll be seeing you all again very soon!
