THE NEXT CHAPTER BEGINS NOW.

For nearly 20 years, CompuTech has believed in the power of education, technology, service, and community. Today, we are building upon that legacy with renewed leadership, a stronger organizational foundation, and a bold vision for the future.

We are proud to officially introduce:

BE PART OF THE MOVEMENT

Be Part of the Movement is an invitation for individuals, families, businesses, organizations, and community leaders to help us create meaningful and lasting change. It is more than a fundraising campaign. It is a growing community of people who believe that everyone deserves access to opportunity, support, and the tools needed to build a brighter future.

Through this movement, CompuTech will expand its work in education and youth development, workforce and economic empowerment, community health and support services, and cultural and community initiatives.

There will be many ways to participate. You can support the mission, volunteer your time, share your expertise, become a community partner, attend our programs and events, or simply help us spread the word.

Over the coming days and weeks, we will introduce our leadership, share our immediate programs, recognize the people helping us move forward, and explain how you can officially become part of the movement.

This is a new chapter for CompuTech, but it is a chapter that must be written together.

Something powerful is taking shape at CompuTech.

Since 2006, CompuTech has worked to create opportunities, empower people, and strengthen our community. Now, we are entering an exciting new chapter with renewed leadership, expanded programs, stronger partnerships, and more ways for our community to get involved.

Tomorrow, we will begin sharing what comes next, including the launch of a new initiative designed to bring our supporters, partners, volunteers, and community together around one shared mission.

This is more than a relaunch. It is the beginning of a movement.

As CompuTech continues to build a strong foundation for the future, we are proud to announce three additional leaders who will help guide our work through both board governance and community engagement.

Strong organizations are built through dedicated leaders who bring experience, passion, and a commitment to serving others. These individuals will play important roles in helping CompuTech fulfill its mission of empowering people and strengthening communities.

Sherry Burton
Chair, Finance & Audit Committee

Sherry Burton will provide leadership and oversight for CompuTech’s Finance & Audit Committee. In this role, she will help ensure strong financial stewardship, accountability, compliance, and transparency as the organization continues to grow. Her experience and leadership will help strengthen the financial foundation necessary to support CompuTech’s long-term success.

Autainia Self
Co-Chair, Development & Fundraising Committee

Autainia Self will serve as Co-Chair of the Development & Fundraising Committee, helping lead fundraising initiatives, donor engagement, sponsorship development, and resource cultivation efforts. Her commitment to community service and relationship-building will be instrumental in helping CompuTech expand its impact and sustainability.

Allicie Briggs
Community Outreach Coordinator, Community Advocacy Council

As Community Outreach Coordinator, Allicie will help strengthen community connections, increase awareness of CompuTech’s mission, and support outreach efforts throughout Washington Parish. Her passion for engagement and service will help ensure that CompuTech remains connected to the needs of the communities we serve.

As CompuTech continues to build and strengthen its Board of Directors and governance structure, we are excited to begin introducing another important component of our organization: the CompuTech Community Advocacy Council.

The Community Advocacy Council serves as an ambassadorial and advisory body that supports CompuTech through advocacy, outreach, awareness, volunteerism, relationship-building, and public engagement. The Council will help ensure that community voices remain at the center of our mission as we continue rebuilding and growing our impact throughout Washington Parish.

Today, we are proud to announce the first two members of the CompuTech Community Advocacy Council:

**Jaworski Davis – Council Chair**
As Council Chair, Jaworski will provide leadership for the Community Advocacy Council and help guide its efforts to increase awareness, strengthen community relationships, and serve as a voice for the communities we serve. His passion for service, leadership, and community engagement will help advance CompuTech's mission of empowering people and strengthening communities.

**Jason Hatch – Coordinator of External Affairs**
As Coordinator of External Affairs, Jason will help strengthen relationships with community stakeholders, organizations, and partners while supporting outreach and engagement efforts. His commitment to collaboration and community involvement will help expand CompuTech's reach and impact throughout the region.
