Brassfield responded to a tree cutter on fire approximately 1/2 mile in the woods. Thanks to the Forest Service for assisting us with being able to get to it via trail maps and extinguishment. We were able to get the fire under control without it spreading.

Last week, Brassfield Vol. Fire Dept had the privilege to attend Tar River Elementary’s Fire Prevention Day. Students were able to see firefighters up close, learn about the fire trucks, and learn what to do in case of an emergency. As a reminder, the first step to firefighting starts at home with fire prevention. Thank you Tar River Elementary.
