๐Ÿšจ BREAKING NEWS FROM THE FRANKTON POLICE DEPARTMENT! ๐Ÿšจ

In celebration of National Frankenstein Day, we've decided to give everyone a behind-the-scenes look at our department's latest experiment! ๐Ÿงช๐Ÿ”ฌ

After years of research, countless cups of coffee, and several questionable decisions, Officer Jackson has FINALLY figured out how to create the ultimate police officer! ๐Ÿ‘ฎโ€โ™‚๏ธโšก

Unfortunately, there were a few unexpected side effects...

๐ŸงŸโ€โ™‚๏ธ Only responds to calls when someone yells "IT'S ALIVE!"

โ˜• Requires approximately 47 cups of coffee per shift.

๐Ÿง  Occasionally forgets why he walked into a room.

๐Ÿš“ Has an uncontrollable urge to patrol the cemetery.

๐Ÿฉ Can detect donuts from approximately three miles away.

Despite these minor setbacks, we're pleased to announce that the experiment was a success! Well... mostly. ๐Ÿ˜‚

The Chief has reportedly ordered all future experiments to be approved by administration FIRST.

๐ŸŽƒ HAPPY NATIONAL FRANKENSTEIN DAY FROM THE FRANKTON POLICE DEPARTMENT! ๐ŸŽƒ

๐Ÿ‘‡ We need your help! What should we name our newest creation? Drop your funniest suggestions in the comments!

๐Ÿš” WATCH OUT! LITTLE GHOSTS AND GOBLINS ARE TAKING OVER THE STREETS! ๐Ÿš—๐Ÿฌ

Halloween is TOMORROW, and that means neighborhoods across Frankton will soon be filled with witches, superheroes, princesses, dinosaurs, and all kinds of little monsters on a mission to collect as much candy as possible! ๐ŸŽƒ๐Ÿ˜‚

While the kids are focused on filling their candy buckets, the Frankton Police Department wants to remind drivers that their most important responsibility is making sure everyone gets home safely!

๐Ÿš— TODAY'S TOPIC: HALLOWEEN DRIVING SAFETY!

๐Ÿข SLOW DOWN, SPEED RACER!
Reduce your speed in residential neighborhoods. Children may be excited, distracted, or moving unexpectedly between houses. A few extra seconds behind the wheel could prevent a tragedy.

๐Ÿ‘€ EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED!
Little ghosts and goblins don't always remember to look both ways! Watch carefully for children crossing streets, stepping out from behind parked vehicles, or running between houses.

๐Ÿ“ฑ PUT THE PHONE DOWN!
That text message, Facebook notification, or funny Halloween video can wait. Keep your eyes on the road and your attention on your surroundings.

๐Ÿšธ BE EXTRA CAREFUL AT CROSSWALKS!
Approach intersections and crosswalks cautiously. Always yield to pedestrians when required, and never assume children see your vehicle approaching.

๐Ÿ’ก LIGHT UP THE NIGHT!
Turn your headlights on as visibility decreases. Be especially cautious in poorly lit areas where dark-colored costumes can make children difficult to see.

๐Ÿšซ๐Ÿบ DRIVE SOBER OR DON'T DRIVE!
If your Halloween festivities include alcohol, make arrangements for a designated driver or another safe ride home. There's absolutely no excuse for impaired driving.

๐Ÿš” A FRIENDLY REMINDER FROM YOUR FRANKTON POLICE OFFICERS:

Tomorrow evening, our neighborhoods will be full of excited children making Halloween memories.

Let's make sure those memories are GOOD ones!

Slow down, stay alert, and give our little trick-or-treaters plenty of room.

๐Ÿ‘ป AND REMEMBER, DRIVERSโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ‘ป

If you see a 4-foot-tall dinosaur sprinting across someone's front yard, don't panic. ๐Ÿฆ–๐Ÿ˜‚

It's probably just a 6-year-old who heard the next house is handing out FULL-SIZE CANDY BARS! ๐Ÿซ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ’จ

But seriously, expect the unexpected and keep those speeds down!

๐ŸŽƒ WE HAVE A QUESTION FOR OUR COMMUNITY! ๐ŸŽƒ

๐Ÿฌ What was the BEST Halloween candy you ever received while trick-or-treating?

Was it a full-size candy bar? A giant bag of treats? Or did you have that one legendary house that always gave out the good stuff? ๐Ÿ˜‚

๐Ÿ‘‡ Let us know in the comments!

๐Ÿš” SAFETY IN NUMBERS โ€“ DON'T LET YOUR LITTLE MONSTERS WANDER OFF! ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿ”ฆ

Halloween is just TWO DAYS AWAY, and we know the excitement is building! Costumes are ready, candy buckets are waiting, and kids everywhere are preparing for the most important mission of the yearโ€ฆ collecting as much candy as humanly possible! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿซ

But before your little ghosts, goblins, witches, and superheroes hit the streets, the Frankton Police Department wants to share a few important reminders to help everyone have a safe and enjoyable Halloween!

๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ‘งโ€๐Ÿ‘ฆ STICK TOGETHER!
Young children should always be accompanied by a responsible adult. Older children should travel in groups and stay together throughout the evening.

๐Ÿ—บ๏ธ HAVE A GAME PLAN!
Parents should know where their children are going. Establish a trick-or-treating route, set a return time, and make sure older children have a way to contact you.

๐Ÿ”ฆ LIGHT UP THE NIGHT!
Carry flashlights, glow sticks, or other lights to help drivers see your little trick-or-treaters. Reflective tape on costumes and candy buckets is also a great idea!

๐Ÿšธ SIDEWALKS ARE YOUR FRIEND!
Always use sidewalks when available. Cross streets at intersections or designated crosswalks, look both ways, and never assume a driver sees you!

๐Ÿ  STAY OUTSIDE!
Children should never enter a stranger's home or vehicle while trick-or-treating. Stick to homes that are well-lit and clearly participating in Halloween activities.

๐Ÿ“ฑ KEEP IN TOUCH!
Older children going out without an adult should have a charged phone, know their home address, and understand what to do if they become separated from their group.

๐Ÿš” A FRIENDLY REMINDER FROM YOUR FRANKTON POLICE OFFICERS:

Halloween should be full of costumes, candy, laughter, and memories โ€” not unnecessary risks!

Parents, take a few minutes to review these safety tips with your children before they head out Saturday evening.

๐Ÿ‘ป AND KIDSโ€ฆ ONE MORE THING! ๐Ÿ‘ป

If your friend says, "Hey, I know a shortcut through this dark alley!" โ€” that's probably your sign to find a different route! ๐Ÿ˜‚

Stick with your group, stay where you're supposed to be, and remember that no amount of candy is worth putting yourself in danger!

๐Ÿฌ NOW WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU! ๐Ÿฌ

๐ŸŽƒ PARENTS: Do you walk with your kids while trick-or-treating, or are they old enough to head out with their friends?

๐Ÿ“… October 28, 2026

Not all heroes wear capes. Some wear badges, bunker gear, scrubs, and uniforms.

Today, the Frankton Police Department proudly recognizes the dedicated men and women who answer the call when our communities need them most.

๐Ÿš“ Law Enforcement Officers โ€“ Who work tirelessly to protect our communities, maintain peace, and keep our families safe.

๐Ÿš’ Firefighters โ€“ Who run toward danger when others are running away, putting their lives on the line to protect others.

๐Ÿš‘ EMTs & Paramedics โ€“ Who provide lifesaving care during some of life's most critical moments.

๐Ÿ“ž 911 Dispatchers โ€“ The calm voices behind the scenes who serve as the first point of contact during emergencies and help bring order to chaos.

First responders don't get to choose when emergencies happen. They miss holidays, birthdays, family dinners, and important moments because someone, somewhere, needs their help.

They witness tragedy, celebrate lives saved, comfort families during their darkest hours, and return to work the next day ready to do it all again.

To every first responder serving Frankton, Madison County, and communities across our nation: THANK YOU!

Your dedication, courage, compassion, and willingness to serve do not go unnoticed.

Today, we honor you. Every day, we appreciate you.

From all of us at the Frankton Police Department, Happy National First Responders Day!

๐Ÿš” CHECK BEFORE YOU SNACK! ๐Ÿ‘ป๐Ÿซ

Halloween is almost here, and we know our little ghosts, goblins, superheroes, and princesses are counting down the minutes until they can fill their buckets with candy! ๐ŸŽƒ

But before your little monsters dive headfirst into their mountain of sugary treasures, the Frankton Police Department has a few important reminders for parents!

๐ŸŽƒ INSPECT BEFORE THEY DIG IN!
Parents should take a few minutes to look through their children's Halloween candy before allowing them to eat it. Check for damaged packaging, broken seals, or anything that looks unusual.

๐Ÿฌ WHEN IN DOUBT, THROW IT OUT!
If candy appears to have been opened, tampered with, or otherwise compromised, don't take chances. Simply discard it!

๐Ÿฅœ WATCH THOSE ALLERGIES!
Many Halloween treats contain common allergens, including peanuts, tree nuts, milk, and wheat. Always check labels if your child has food allergies.

๐Ÿ‘ถ LITTLE GOBLINS NEED EXTRA ATTENTION!
Hard candy, gum, and small treats can pose choking hazards for younger children. Make sure treats are age-appropriate!

๐Ÿ  BE CAUTIOUS WITH HOMEMADE TREATS!
Unless you personally know and trust the person providing them, it's best to stick with commercially packaged treats.

๐Ÿš” A FRIENDLY REMINDER FROM YOUR FRANKTON POLICE OFFICERS:

Halloween candy tampering is extremely rare, but taking a few minutes to inspect your child's treats is a simple precaution that helps keep Halloween safe and enjoyable for everyone!

๐Ÿ˜‚ AND PARENTSโ€ฆ WE NEED TO TALK!

We know some of you are planning to collect a little "parent tax" from those Halloween candy buckets after the kids go to bed. ๐Ÿซ๐Ÿ‘€

While the Frankton Police Department has no official position on the confiscation of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, we strongly encourage all parties to negotiate a fair candy-sharing agreement! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿš”

๐ŸŽƒ NOW WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU! ๐ŸŽƒ

๐Ÿฌ What's the ONE Halloween candy you're stealing from your kid's bucket?

Reese's? Snickers? Kit Kats? Or are you one of those people who actually likes candy corn? ๐Ÿ˜‚

๐Ÿšจ๐Ÿงป BREAKING NEWS: CONTROVERSY ROCKS THE FRANKTON POLICE DEPARTMENT! ๐Ÿšจ๐Ÿงป

Ladies and gentlemen, we have a situation developing inside the Frankton Police Department, and quite frankly, we're not sure we're going to make it through this one without some outside intervention. ๐Ÿ˜‚

A heated debate has erupted over one of the most controversial issues facing our department today...

๐Ÿšฝ HOW SHOULD TOILET PAPER BE PLACED ON THE HOLDER?!

Should it roll OVER the top or hang UNDER?

๐Ÿ‘ฎโ€โ™‚๏ธ Officer Owens has taken a VERY firm position on this matter.

In fact, he's gone as far as presenting historical evidence, including the ORIGINAL TOILET PAPER PATENT FROM 1891, to support his argument.

According to Officer Owens:

๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ "Over is the correct way to display the butt napkins."

He has also informed fellow officers that a "come to Jesus meeting" may be necessary to address these ongoing violations.

Apparently, he's been personally correcting the toilet paper rolls every week, and his patience is running dangerously low. ๐Ÿคฃ

Officer Owens has even declared:

๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ "I have an aneurism every time I see toilet paper not being displayed legally."

We would like to remind everyone that, despite Officer Owens' passionate interpretation of the 1891 patent, there is currently no Indiana law governing the proper installation of toilet paper. ๐Ÿ˜‚

โš–๏ธ NOW WE NEED THE COMMUNITY TO SETTLE THIS!

๐ŸŸข TEAM OVER: Toilet paper hangs over the front. The civilized approach!

๐Ÿ”ด TEAM UNDER: Toilet paper hangs behind the roll. Apparently, some people just want to watch the world burn.

๐Ÿ‘‡ CAST YOUR VOTE IN THE COMMENTS!

Are you TEAM OVER or TEAM UNDER?

We need answers before Officer Owens requests a special department meeting, starts issuing written warnings, or establishes a Toilet Paper Enforcement Division.

๐Ÿš”๐Ÿงป Frankton Police Department โ€” Protecting and Serving... One Roll at a Time!

Disclaimer: No toilet paper rolls were harmed in the making of this post. However, several have reportedly been forcibly repositioned by Officer Owens. ๐Ÿ˜‚
