πŸ—³οΈ It’s National Voter Education Week! | October 5–9

The Frederick County Commission for Women encourages eligible voters to "get informed and get prepared" for the upcoming election.

Know your polling location. Review your ballot. Understand your voting options. Learn about provisional ballots. Most importantly, make a plan to vote.

This is about voter educationβ€”not telling you how to vote.

We’re sharing resources to help Frederick County residents access accurate, nonpartisan election information and make their own informed decisions.

Learn. Prepare. Get Informed. Make a Plan. Vote.

A great afternoon of connection and community building!

The Frederick County Commission for Women (CfW) was honored to be the featured guest at Key City Rotary's latest meeting, held at the Arc in Frederick on Thursday, September 24th. Our own President Tawanda Bailey took the podium to share who we are, what we do, and the issues we champion (Commissioner Kim Scarborough also showed her support).

As two organizations rooted in service and a shared vision of empowering neighbors, the CfW and Key City Rotary are looking forward to collaborating together on future initiatives that will benefit women and girls throughout Frederick County.

A special thank you to Key City Rotary President Timika Thrasher (pictured at podium) for the warm welcome and for helping bring this collaboration to life, and to everyone who came out to connect and celebrate service in action.

✨ Leadership, Advocacy & Community Impact! ✨

We are proud to celebrate FCCFW President Tawanda Bailey for sharing her voice and leadership as a speaker with The WISH Organization! πŸ’œ

Tawanda’s commitment to empowering women, strengthening our community, and creating spaces where women’s voices are heard is at the heart of the work we do at the Frederick County Commission for Women.

Opportunities like this remind us of the power of connection, collaboration, and conversation. When women come together to share their experiences, knowledge, and vision, we create pathways for others to grow, lead, and thrive.

Thank you to The WISH Organization for inviting President Bailey to be part of this important conversation and for the work you continue to do in our community. We are grateful for organizations that believe in the power of women supporting women. πŸ’ͺπŸΎπŸ’œ

Here’s to women leading, women lifting, and women making an impact! ✨
