🔥 ELEVATED FIRE DANGER TODAY 🔥

Grandfield Fire & Rescue would like to remind everyone that fire danger is elevated across Southwest Oklahoma today.

💨 Wind gusts could reach 40 MPH
💧 Humidity may fall to 20–30%
🌾 Dry/dormant vegetation can allow fires to ignite and spread very quickly

🚫 Please avoid all outdoor burning today. Use extra caution with welding, grinding, equipment, chains, ci******es, or anything else that could create a spark.

With these conditions, a small fire can become a large, fast-moving wildfire in a matter of minutes.

🚒 Help us keep Grandfield, Tillman County, our neighbors, and our firefighters safe.

If you see smoke or fire, call 911 immediately.

Tillman County is currently under a BURN BAN.

🔥 NO OUTDOOR BURNING 🔥

Please avoid any activity that could create sparks or start a fire. Dry conditions can allow fires to spread quickly and put lives, property, livestock, and first responders at risk.

Please help us keep Tillman County safe.
