On Sept 12th some members of the Civitan Club of Frederick, volunteered to help build beds for the local chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace.
The event was held at the Lowe’s store on Buckeystown Pike in Frederick.
This event was part of a much larger nationwide bed build, Bunks Across America. The Frederick event was one of around 250 build events in the nation.
Shout out to Billy, Tony and Jim for helping to build 70 beds that will stay in our Frederick community.

TODAY IN HISTORY - On July 1, 1974, we became the first major service organization to welcome women as members. Today, we celebrate the trailblazers like Polly Forestier, our first female International President and every woman who continues to make an impact in her community. The photo seen here is of Past International President, Polly Forestier speaking at our 2025 Annual Convention.

Thank you for leading the way!
