Our 5th graders had a special guest today! 💇🏻‍♀️✨✂️

Beth-Center alumna Londyn Brown came to speak about her career as a cosmetologist and salon owner! She shared what it takes to become a cosmetologist, open her own salon, and how choosing trade school can be a great alternative to the traditional college path!

It was a great opportunity for students to explore different career paths and see how following their passions can turn into a career!

And the best part? Our guest speaker just happens to be Miss Brown’s sister! 🩷💙💛

Calling all Bethlehem-Center students in grades K–12!

Have you ever wanted to be the person who announces a SNOW DAY? Think you can come up with a creative way to tell Bulldog Country that school is delayed, canceled, or moving to remote learning?

NOW IS YOUR CHANCE!

Bethlehem-Center School District is launching the Bulldog Broadcast Challenge, and we're looking for creative, funny, exciting, and original student-produced videos to help announce changes to our school schedule!

Here's the best part: Your video could be featured on the district's official page when we announce a school delay, remote learning day, or cancellation!

🎥 THREE CATEGORIES — ENTER ONE OR ALL THREE!

⏰ TWO-HOUR DELAY

Create a video announcing that Bethlehem-Center School District is operating on a two-hour delay.

💻 REMOTE LEARNING DAY

Create a video announcing that Bethlehem-Center School District will have a remote learning day.

❄️ SCHOOL CANCELLATION

Create a video announcing that Bethlehem-Center School District is CLOSED for the day!

🌟 GET CREATIVE, BULLDOGS!

Your video can be funny, dramatic, musical, animated, or completely outside the box!

Have an idea for a breaking news report? A hilarious weather forecast? A Bulldog music video? A movie trailer? A creative skit with your friends?

GO FOR IT! WE WANT TO SEE WHAT YOU CAN DREAM UP!

You can enter individually, with friends, or as a classroom or student group.

📋 THE RULES ARE SIMPLE!

Videos should be 10–20 seconds long.

Clearly announce the school status for your chosen category.

Make your video original, creative, and school-appropriate.

Do not include specific dates so your video can be used anytime during the school year.

Record vertically using a phone, tablet, or camera. MP4 format is preferred.

You may submit an entry in one, two, or all three categories!

All videos must be suitable for sharing on the district's official social media pages. Student media permissions and district approval are required before publication. Please use original or approved music and sound effects.

🏆 WHAT CAN YOU WIN?

We'll recognize outstanding videos in each category, including a special Superintendent's Choice Award!

But the biggest prize?

YOUR VIDEO COULD BE THE ONE THAT TELLS ALL OF BULLDOG COUNTRY THAT SCHOOL IS CANCELED!

Winning videos and other selected entries will become part of our district's Bulldog Broadcast collection and may be featured throughout the school year.

Weston earned a Gold Coin for going above and beyond to help his friend Tyler! When asked why he was so willing to help, Weston simply said, “He is my friend and he needs my help.” 🥹

The team will play Sewickley Academy at 6pm on Monday, October 26, 2026 at Peter’s Township Middle School.

Tonight, we celebrate our BCHS Volleyball Seniors! 🎓

These girls have put in countless hours, worked hard, played with heart, and given so much to this program. Now it’s OUR turn to show up for THEM!

🎓 Senior Recognition will be immediately following the JV game.

One day, during preseason camp, the Beth-Center football team got together to watch some film.

But this wasn’t tape from a practice or scrimmage. It was a YouTube video of a game played 40 years ago, one that saw Beth-Center beat Ellwood City to secure a berth in the WPIAL Class 2A championship. The Bulldogs haven’t been back since.

“They sat up and watched the game,” said Beth-Center coach Tim Trump, a two-way lineman on that 1986 team. “They understand the history and what it means to this town and the community to be part of something special.”

Forty years later, this Bulldogs team is creating some history and memories of its own and hopes to soon make more in what has already been a special year.
