Brazosport ISD Special Services This is the official page of the Brazosport Independent School District's Department of Special Services.

Students will have next week off as a Fall Break and Student Holiday. Our staff will have professional development days Monday and Tuesday, with Wednesday-Friday off as Exchange Days. Independent navigation builds confidence, and here at Brazosport ISD, we are so lucky to have an outstanding leader guiding the way: Charla Harkreader, our Orientation and Mobility (O&M) Specialist!

Charla empowers students who are blind or visually impaired to safely and confidently navigate their classrooms, school grounds, and everyday environments. From white cane techniques to spatial awareness and route travel, her work opens doors to independence for our students every single day.
