**BOIL WATER NOTICE RESCINDED – OCTOBER 27, 2026**

The City of Freeport and Veolia advise that the **Boil Water Notice has been lifted** for the following areas:

- Port of Freeport
- Portions of Riviana
- E. 2nd Street – Blocks 100 through 600, 1000, and 1100

Following corrective actions and water quality testing, the water has been confirmed to meet the required safety standards.

**Residents and businesses in the affected areas may now resume normal water use without boiling.**

We appreciate everyone's patience and cooperation during this time.
