🎉 A RECORD-BREAKING SENIOR EXPO! 🎉

What a fantastic day! A HUGE thank-you to everyone who helped make yesterday’s Senior Expo such a success! We welcomed 50 vendors and approximately 350 attendees—a NEW RECORD! 🙌

Older adults, caregivers and families enjoyed a wealth of information, helpful resources, free giveaways and, of course, plenty of candy! 🍬 One attendee summed it up perfectly, calling the event “Halloween for seniors!” 👻🎃 We love that!

We couldn’t have done it without our wonderful vendors, who shared their time, knowledge and resources; our attendees, who came out to learn and connect; and our generous sponsors, whose support helps make this event possible.

A special thank-you to Highland Community College, its Athletic Department, and the YMCA of Northwest Illinois for providing such a wonderful location and helping make this year’s Expo a success!

Looking for a fun, relaxing way to stay active? 🌿

Join us for a FREE introductory Tai Chi & Qigong class! Tai Chi combines gentle movements, breathing, and relaxation to help improve balance, flexibility, and overall well-being.

This beginner-friendly class is a great opportunity to try something new, see what Tai Chi is all about, and decide if you'd be interested in joining a future class series!

🐠🦦 Making memories with Senior Resource Center!

What a fun day! Yesterday, we headed to Dubuque to explore the National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium. From discovering interesting facts about the mighty Mississippi to checking out fascinating fish and other aquatic creatures, there was plenty to enjoy! 🌊🐟

We had a great time exploring, learning, and sharing a little adventure with friends.
