Today Fremont Fire & Police Departments took some time to play a friendly game of softball as part of the harvest festival. Lots of laughs and maybe a few aches and pains for both teams afterward. While the FD may come up short on the scoreboard plenty of fun was had by all. Big thanks to everyone who came out to watch and support both teams.

Last night's Branstrom Park training consisted of long distance pumping and what is required. As new homes are being built further from the road and with narrower access, fire depts are having to adapt their response tactics.

Crews were able to pump up 36ft of elevation over the distance of .2 miles and maintain pressure at the primary engine equivalent to what we typically see at a fire hydrant.

Tonight members will be training in Branstrom Park along the roadway utilizing apparatus at the bottom and top of the hill.

The park drive will remain open and usable to all during the training.

We will begin setup around 6pm and hope to be wrapped up around 8pm.
