Yesterday, NC RESA hosted our Transition & Reality Fair, bringing together students with disabilities, their caregivers, and educators to explore the many opportunities available right here in Newaygo County!

From valuable resources and services to supports that help students build skills, confidence, and independence, the fair highlighted the people and organizations working together to help every individual reach their full potential.

Thank you to all the participating organizations, families, educators, and community partners who helped make this event possible. Together, we’re building a community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive!

Yesterday, we celebrated our student cleaners with a sweet treat—an apple bar! Caramel, candies, nuts, whipped cream, and plenty of toppings made for a fun way to say THANK YOU for all their hard work.

*We even had a little excitement when someone’s treat hit the floor while we were posing for a photo. Good thing we had just the crew to handle the cleanup! 😄

Thank you to our student cleaners for helping keep our spaces clean and welcoming. We appreciate you!

Peer 2 Peer is off to a GREAT start!

Peer 2 Peer began with an exciting goal: to create meaningful connections between CTC students and our students at the EAC! This amazing program gives CTC students the opportunity to take on leadership roles within their classrooms while providing EAC students with valuable career exposure, opportunities to build relationships, learn new skills, and grow.

Today was our Meet & Greet, and everyone had a great time getting to know one another! We are excited to watch friendships grow and see the amazing things that come from this partnership.

What a wonderful way for students to learn from one another, build confidence, and make a difference!
