Something serious happens – and you need help. When you call 9-1-1 do you know what happens next❓

Whatever you think or know about the process, the systems Fremont depends on for emergencies are changing‼️

Important, possibly life-saving services to include First Responders, EMTs, the Transporting Ambulance, and Paramedic Intercept Services are being restructured in several critical ways as Fremont grows and looks to a new ambulance contract as of April 1, 2027.

Join the Town Administrator and key representatives of the Town’s Fire Rescue Department and learn more about what this means for Fremont.

As a reminder to ALL Fremont Residents!!

🏁 IT STARTS TODAY! 🏁

The gates open at noon, and the countdown is over! Today, the snowmobile world begins converging on Fremont, New Hampshire, for Race Into Winter 2026! 🔥

Some of the fastest sleds in North America are ready to fly down the grass drag track and tear across the water. Add in incredible watercross racing, RAVEx aerial action, the Show & Shine, manufacturers, dealers, swap meet vendors, great food, and two b**r gardens, and you've got one unforgettable weekend ahead!

But what really makes this event special? The people who make it happen. ❤️

From snowmobile clubs across New Hampshire who give their time, energy, and passion, this event is built by a community that loves this sport and wants to share it with the world. This association is so very proud of our team.

Today, we celebrate the racers, the fans, the families, the volunteers, and everyone who makes snowmobiling what it is.

Members of Fremont Fire Rescue, NH training yesterday evening focused on roof operations, hose advancement, and tanker shuttle operations.

Engine 2 advanced a handline and operated on the "fire", while Engine 1 deployed a ladder, brought the roof saw up, and simulated opening the roof for ventilation. Tanker 4 supported the operation by supplying Engine 2 with water.

Great hands-on training focused on coordination, communication, and operating as a team.

Yesterday some members of the Fremont Fire Rescue, NH attended the Memorial Service for Raymond Firefighter Eric Phillips who died in the line of duty on September 4, 2026.

May he rest in peace.

Yesterday Fremont Fire Rescue, NH's Tanker 4, with a crew of 2, and Fremont C1 responded to Sandown for smoke coming from a structure. Shortly after the initial dispatch, it was upgraded to a 1st Alarm. Fremont Tank 4 arrived on scene and immediately went to work to supply water to Sandown's Ladder 3 which had multiple hand lines in use. While water was being supplied to L3 and per the orders of Fremont C1, Fremont Tank 4's truck Officer paired up with a Raymond Captain for an exterior fire attack using one of Sandown's hand lines.

When we arrived heavy smoke was pushing from the roof line, which in a matter of seconds turned into a large amount of fire. Raymond Fire Department's Engine crew backed out of the 2nd floor and the fire attack went to exterior operations, putting Sandown Ladder 3's master stream into service along with its hand lines. Also, a 2nd Alarm was struck bringing more Engine crews and Tankers to the scene, along with a rehab truck.

Crews were eventually sent back inside for overhaul and to retrieve some of the homeowners important items (IDs, cell phones, etc.)

While the homeowners were able to get out safely, one Firefighter was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

Yesterday was a busy day for the members of the Fremont Fire Rescue, NH.

It started with moving our apparatus onto Main Street to show our support for the Annual Patriot Riders of America NH1 motorcycle group 9/11 ride by.

While members were waiting for their arrival, Tanker 4 was dispatched on the 1st Alarm Commercial Building Fire at SIG SAUER Academy in Epping. The call eventually was upgraded to a 3-Alarm Building Fire. Our Tanker was on scene for approximately 2 hours.

Then at approximately 8:30pm we were dispatched to an MVA on Main Street, with a vehicle on its side and unknown if the patients were entrapped or not. Thankfully the sole driver was able to self extract themselves and was transported to Exeter Hospital.

Then at approximately 12:30am we were dispatched to an illegal bonfire in the pits off of Shirkin Road.

We'd like to remind our Followers to always DIAL 9-1-1 for an emergency. If you think you'd call someone else for help bc you need it, chances are 9-1-1 is one of those numbers that should be called first! Please don't delay getting the
9-1-1 process/ resources started. It could be a life or death situation or result in losing your home to a fire.

A modern residential fire can transition from a room-and-contents fire to flashover in roughly 3–5 minutes, with the rate of growth accelerating rapidly as more fuel becomes involved. Don't call a friend, don't post it on Facebook - get out and call 9-1-1 from outside of your home!

Fremont Fire Rescue, NH's Tanker 4 was on scene at today's SIG building fire in Epping. We were dispatched on the 1st alarm assignment, but the call eventually was upgraded to a 🔔🔔🔔-alarm fire.
