Please read full article; Live burn was a great success, I wish to say Thank you to Tim Horton for Coffee and Doughnuts, Lakeview for Pizzas, Romeo for Pizzas, Hannaford for Water, Pelletier Sewer for Portable Toilets, Mark Albert Concrete for his excavator. Thank You to those who help make this happen, Grand Isle Fire, Fort Kent Fire and Fort Kent Highway, Madawaska Fire, Madawaska EMS and Madawaska Highway, and St. Agatha Fire. A Special Thank You Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Wimbiscus for this great opportunity to learn Fire Behavior, ICS, Safety, Accountability, Mutual Aid, Water shuttle just to name a few objectives. 🇺🇸Today, the Frenchville Fire Department honors the 2,977 lives lost on September 11, 2001, including 343 firefighters and 23 New York City police officers who made the ultimate sacrifice.
We remember their courage, their families, and all those forever changed.

Please read full article; Attention Frenchville residents, on Sept. 13, 2026 we will be doing a Live Burn on 34 Starbarn Ave. With the ok from Maine Department of Environment. We will improve our learning, working relationship and efficiency at fires with Grand Isle, Fort Kent, Madawaska and St. Agatha Fire Departments. We Thank Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Wimbiscus for this great training opportunity. With heavy truck traffic that day, This street is closed, Only residents will be allowed, this will help us to concentrate on the live burn and avoid accidents. 🚨BASIC FIRE SCHOOL COMPLETE!🚨

The Frenchville Fire Department would like to congratulate two of our newer firefighters, Kaden Daigle and Logan Pelletier, on successfully completing their Basic Fire School Training!

This is an important milestone in their firefighting journey and reflects their hard work, dedication, and commitment to serving our community. We are proud to have Kaden and Logan as part of our department and look forward to watching them continue to grow and serve alongside our team.
