On Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at 2:01 AM, Southwest Policing District Officers were dispatched to Divisadero Street and Abby Street regarding a person lying in the roadway. Upon arrival, officers located 42-year-old Kyle Beachy of Fresno lying on the roadway, suffering from injuries to his upper body. Officers and EMS performed life‑saving measures to the victim, and he was then transported by EMS to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment.
