The Office of Independent Review (OIR) works to strengthen community trust in the Fresno Police Dept
Yesterday, the Office of Independent Review had the pleasure of attending the Reentry Resource Fair at Manchester Center hosted in partnership with Fresno Adult Parole and community organizations dedicated to supporting successful reintegration efforts in our community.
This was a well-attended event filled with valuable resources, information, and support services for participants working toward a successful reentry journey. We appreciated the opportunity to engage with community members, share information about the Office of Independent Review, and continue promoting transparency, accountability, and trust within the Fresno community.
A special thank you to Fresno Adult Parole for providing the space and opportunity to connect with attendees and fellow community partners committed to making a positive impact.

We had a wonderful time connecting with our community at Spring Fest this past Saturday at Einstein Park. Thank you to Vice President Councilman Tyler Maxwell and his staff for organizing such a well attended and engaging event. It was a great opportunity to meet and speak with so many families and community members, and we appreciate being included in such a meaningful day.

Last weekend, the Office of Independent Review had the opportunity to attend the Pain to Purpose Community Outreach event, where we hosted an informational booth and connected with members of our community.
The event was incredibly well attended, and we were grateful to meet so many families and community members from across Fresno. Opportunities like this allow us to listen, share information about our role, and to help promote transparency and strengthen trust between the community and law enforcement.

Happy Easter from the Office of Independent Review!
Wishing our community a joyful and peaceful day filled with connection and renewal.
We had an incredible time throughout February attending Black History Month events and connecting with our community. It was an honor to celebrate culture, history, and community together, and we truly appreciate everyone who stopped by to engage with us.
Events like this remind us how important it is to be present, listen, and build meaningful connections with the people we serve. Thank you to the organizers and community members who made these gatherings so special.
