Big news! CalViva Health has been named to the CSU Fresno Pinnacle Society and honored with the bronze medallion, a distinction celebrating exemplary philanthropic partners of the university. In supporting Fresno State, we’re able to provide scholarships for future healthcare professionals. One year of Ram Housing — and what a year it has been. We were so glad to celebrate this milestone with Fresno City College’s Ram Housing program and Basic Needs department, and to hear from Kizzy and her team firsthand. Supporting students navigating housing challenges is work rooted in dignity and real opportunity, and we’re grateful to stand alongside this team as a partner from the very beginning.

Today, CalViva Health’s own Courtney Shapiro took the stage with Fresno County Director of Public Health, Joe Prado at Cradle to Career to talk about what’s possible when we all come together. They focused on the messaging of “raising the barn” and how building a stronger, healthier Central Valley requires all of us. Community organizations, health plans, schools, families. Everyone has a part to play.

We are proud to collaborate in this work and grateful for spaces like Cradle to Career that bring the right people to the same table.

CalViva Health had the privilege of attending the Youth of the Year event hosted by the Boys and Girls Clubs of Fresno County. Hearing each finalist share their heartfelt stories was a powerful reminder of the resilience, leadership, and promise within our community. The future of Fresno County is bright with these young leaders stepping forward.
