Because the Guardian system uses standard Containerized Delivery System (CDS) procedures, it is compatible with any rear-loading cargo aircraft with no modifications, therefore taking advantage of aircraft that most countries have readily available.

Though wildfire occurrences have increased year-round, wildfire season in the U.S. is typically from May to November. This year, as the country braces for potentially worse fires than normal, the Guardian System would be a key addition to the wildfire fighting arsenal in the U.S.

Some wildfire fighting systems on the market require extensive training or special equipment—not the Guardian. The Guardian uses standard Containerized Delivery System (CDS) procedures, a method that has been in use by many Air Forces for over 60 years.

What sets the Guardian apart? It is a Containerized Aerial Fire Fighting System (CAFFS), which has several benefits when compared to more traditional methods of fighting wildfires aerially like Very Large Air Tankers (VLAT). We view the Guardian System as a valuable resource to fight wildfires alongside other methods.

Wildfires ablaze in Florida and Georgia this week are a sobering reminder of the need to respond to wildfires as fast as possible, with as many resources as possible. We hope to soon join the fight against wildfires in the U.S., just as we have in other countries around the world.
