Global Medical Brigades Global Medical Brigades is the largest student-led movement for global health. Be the change!

Global Medical Brigades is an international movement of students and medical professionals working alongside local communities and staff to implement sustainable health systems. We work in remote, rural, and under resourced communities in Honduras, Panama, Nicaragua and Ghana who would otherwise have limited to no access to health care.

Our thoughts are with everyone affected by the recent earthquake in Panama.

The affected areas are outside the communities we currently work with. We're staying in close contact with our local team to understand how we can support locally led recovery efforts as needs become clearer.

Our Panama team reports that current operations and transportation remain unaffected, and upcoming Brigades are expected to proceed as planned.

We're thinking of the impacted families and communities, and everyone working to support their recovery.
