Yesterday, I had the honor of joining Central Valley Food Bank, ABC30, and Amazon for the FeedingCal event. It was inspiring to come together with community partners dedicated to fighting food insecurity and supporting families across the Central Valley. Grateful to be part of an effort that makes a meaningful difference in the lives of so many. 🍅🥑🍞

Proud to recognize two outstanding proclamations this week honoring Older Americans Month and the historic achievements of Fresno City College Women’s Beach Volleyball.
Older Americans Month is a reminder to celebrate and support the seniors who continue to shape and strengthen our community every day. We were honored to recognize the West Fresno Family Resource Center and Dr. Bill Dailey for their dedication to serving older adults through programs like the Senior Symposium and for their advocacy on the upcoming Senior Center.
We also proudly recognized the Fresno City College Women’s Beach Volleyball team for their incredible accomplishments on the court. Their undefeated 140-0 record and championship victories are a testament to their discipline, teamwork, and commitment to excellence, bringing tremendous pride to the City of Fresno.

In the meantime, all meeting agendas for the week of May 18–22, 2026, are available on the City of Fresno Notices and Publications webpage: https://www.fresno.gov/cityclerk/notices-and-publications/
