About 20% of your posts concern Crime & Safety, and we're glad those issues are important to you, because they're important to us, too.

It would be easy to assume that we see all those posts, and are aware of all the things you talk about on NextDoor. Unfortunately, that's not the case. NextDoor was created for neighbors to talk to each other, and the folks that created the system hold that value in high regard. So you can see what you're neighbors art talking about, but we cannot.

As a public agency, we can post to NextDoor, and read your comments on our posts, but we can't see your posts.

And we're okay with that. We want you to talk among yourselves without feeling like Big Brother is watching.
