Sarah Thompson, the executive director of Christian Peacemaker Teams, will be speaking on the Middle East and CPT involvement at Mennonite Community Church on Sunday evening, August 17, at 6 p.m. This Mennonite Peacemaker event provides an excellent opportunity to learn more about the complicated dynamics of the region and what a Christian peace witness can look like "on the ground" in the middle of strife and conflict. Mennonite Community Church is located at the northeast corner of Willow and Olive in Fresno.
