The alpha release version of the official Septathalon scorekeeping app is done just in time for the event! While it's not feature-complete (matchmaking for ping pong and Ultimate frisbee is not implemented) it should be functional enough to serve as the primary scoring method this year.

It looks like we really are having another Septathalon this year - specifically, the 14th Annual MAD FIGS Septathalon! This will be a unique competition, featuring all the favorite supplemental events from years past. While the events may seem less physically demanding than usual, it will take significant mental fortitude to master the 14 different
skills required for victory. It could be anyone's game this time around!

The planning for Septathalon 2012 has begun... better late than never? The date is our first topic of discussion, an initial candidate being November 2-3.

In commemoration of the 14th Annual event this year, another proposal is to repeat all of our previous supplemental events. These have included:
