Hey everyone! My name is Lily and I'm a senior at the University of Oklahoma and GB's current Social Media Intern.
My experience with GB began my freshman year when I volunteers with Public Health in the community of Fray Lazaro, Honduras.
With my heart full of memories and the people of the community, I got on a plane back to America after my brigade knowing I would most likely never see any of them again. The following year I was re-assigned to do more Public Health work in Fray Lazaro. Now after more than two years (as I prepare to go on my fifth brigade) I get to revisit Fray Lazaro.
Today, Fray Lazaro is a fully holistic community! By empowering people and giving tools of sustainability, GB has changed the lives of both the people of Fray Lazaro and mine. Follow my brigade this weekend and into next week by watching the GB stories on Instagram! 🌎
