COARSEGOLD: Caltrans will have one-way traffic control in place, north of Coarsegold, for a couple days next week for needed asphalt work. The work will be done on State Route 41, between Holly Lane and Cavin Lane, will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday, the 13th and 14th. The work is scheduled to be done from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Please plan accordingly.

FRESNO COUNTY — The Department of Transportation (Caltrans), in cooperation with Teichert Construction, announces the following schedule update in part of the State Route 41 Excelsior Expressway Project in Fresno County.

The following will occur Thursday, October 15th:

• Access to State Route 41 from Harlan Avenue and Laguna Avenue will be blocked for the start of construction of the future northbound lanes of State Route 41.
• During the closure of these avenues, the contractor will begin clearing and grubbing of dirt and vegetation along with asphalt grinding operations near the closure locations.
• These closures are expected to be in place throughout the winter season until Spring of 2027.

Closures may continue for longer periods of time, if necessary, due to delays caused by weather or uncontrollable events that may occur.

Caltrans wants to remind drivers to stay attentive and undistracted while driving and to be cognizant of workers and vehicles in Construction Areas and slow down while driving through Work Zones.

Caltrans would like to thank residents and commuters for their patience during this project and remember to please “Slow for the Cone Zone.”

Madera County: Overnight lane closures are planned for next week as Madera County continues work on the State Route 41 Expressway Project. The evening lane closures are scheduled between 10:00 pm and 6:00 am on both Wednesday, October 14 and Thursday, October 15th. Please plan accordingly.
