The Penguin House on Christmas Tree Lane

Im sure you are all wondering about the status of Christmas Tree Lane this year.

The lane will indeed be open for our 98th year at the beginning of December, however there will be no walk nights, only drive nights, and walking will be prohibited on the lane for the duration of the event.

So please plan to enjoy Fresno's best holiday tradition from the comfort of your vehicle.

The lane is run every year by dedicated volunteers, please show your appreciation (and help pay the light bill!) with a donation at the booth as you make your way through the decorations!

Walk night Dec 3 and Dec 11! Regular hours 6-10, 6-11 Fri/Sat!

The penguin crew has safely arrived at their vacation island for well deserved relaxation after having stood still for 25 full days and nights 😄

As always, particular recognition should be expressed for Mr. Christmas Tree Lane, Dean Alexander, who consistently shoulders way more than his share of the effort to pull off Fresno’s greatest Holiday tradition, as well as Erin Cook, music coordinator for walk nights, who has year over year made the Lane a more engaging and aurally pleasing experience for all. Bravo to both of you.

The very best thing you can do to show your appreciation would be to carry your holiday spirit as deeply into the new year as possible. Exercise patience with each other. Be considerate and respectful so you may expect the same in return. Use your blinker. Try to have fun!
