The park contains the original Millerton County Courthouse, built in 1867.

Land ahoy! 🛥️⚠️ As water levels continue to fluctuate, boaters should beware of underwater hazards.

Land masses and rocks may be submerged just beneath the surface. Practice caution while underway.

Consider the following:

Observe 5mph speed limit 200 feet from shore and bathers.

Use extra caution when close to shore and in the boat dock channels. Use designated channel buoys as guides.

Observe hazard buoys indicated by an orange diamond shape. Note, not all hazards are marked.

Consider the use of sonar/scanning tools if your vessel is equipped. Designate a lookout when in doubt.

Ensure you have all required safety equipment onboard, including lifejackets for all passengers, fire extinguishers, sound making device, and a throwable flotation device.

Designate an operator, boat sober.

Hope to see you all on the lake, safe boating!
