Big recognition for our program at the Collin College Health Professions Students of Excellence ceremony in McKinney.

Frisco students earned more awards than any other district represented—an incredible reflection of the strength, consistency, and professionalism of our Health Science pathway programs.

Two students received top honors:

Avnita Parvataneni was selected as one of only four scholarship recipients.

Manyatha Simhambhatla earned both the Leadership Award and the Heart of Healthcare Award, one of the highest recognitions given for compassion, service, and commitment to the healthcare field.

These achievements highlight what makes our program stand out: high expectations, strong preparation, and students who consistently rise above in competitive, real-world healthcare settings.

Recently our Health Science students had an incredible hands-on learning experience during a field trip to the medical school at UT Southwestern.

Students toured the medical school facilities and had the opportunity to speak directly with current medical students, including both traditional MD candidates and a combined MD/PhD student (a pathway many of them hadn’t even realized existed). The conversations gave our students a real, honest look into the variety of routes available in the medical field. They also heard from a practicing pharmacist who shared insights into the profession and led a short pharmaceutical activity, giving students a glimpse into another vital branch of healthcare.

One of the most impactful moments of the day came when our students worked alongside medical students to dissect sheep hearts. These photos capture that experience - focused, curious, and fully engaged in authentic clinical-style learning.

Opportunities like this are what make career and technical education so powerful: students don’t just learn about healthcare, they experience it.

Esports 3 Capstone Showcase: Global Business Expansion Presentations

Our Esports 3 students are culminating their program with a comprehensive capstone experience, stepping beyond the classroom and into the role of global business strategists and creative directors.

In this final showcase, students will present fully developed expansion plans for both domestic and international markets, demonstrating mastery of industry-level thinking across multiple disciplines of digital media and business development.

Each capstone presentation includes:

🎨 Graphic Design Promotion — professional branding and visual identity systems
