Voters please take the time to read this. It is a really long read but it’s a good description of what is going on with education in our state. FYI vouchers are dead on the branch as well. Those private schools taking vouchers will have the same teacher retention issues because “pay” is not the biggest issue with educators jumping ship. Our teacher retention issue is nothing more than historical “supply and demand”. We are doing nothing to address the supply all while marketing more demand with inviting businesses to move to Texas. Not saying invites are bad rather one more variable contributing to the problem. Get informed!

Frisco and surrounding area voters have spoken. By and large, it appears the community wants nonpartisan elections to stay nonpartisan! Hyper partisan candidates and their endorsements did NOT see many victories this year! 🙌
1776 Project PAC, Families 4 Frisco PAC, Star Patriots PAC, Patriot Mobile PAC, Collin County Conservative Republicans, Collin County GOP, Elevate Life Church, Rep. Patterson, Senator Angela Paxton, and so many others are just some of the examples of this!

There are A LOT of campaign lies and rhetoric around “Restorative Practices” and “SEL” in regards to Reed Bond.
Let us share a few facts:
1. Both are Law! TX HB674 | 2017-2018 | 85th Legislature. Also in Education code, Sec. 37.0013. POSITIVE BEHAVIOR PROGRAM. (Where was the outrage 6 years ago?!?)
2. Reed Bond, while at Memorial HS, led workshops and training on Restorative Practices and SEL.
3. Reed Bond is on record across many platforms (prior to his run for school board of course) with his support of restorative practices and SEL!
4. Reed Bond’s supporters are advocating that a vote for Reed is a vote against Restorative Practices and SEL.
5. #4 is a LIE
Stop with the lies and rhetoric!

More on “Outsiders” influencing elections!
Here are some facts:
•Elevate Life is a 501(c)(3) Tax-Exempt Organization
•501(c)(3) Tax-Exempt Organizations (nonprofits) are “absolutely prohibited from directly or indirectly participating in, or intervening in, any political campaign”
•Elevate Life voter guide reflects bias and partisanship.
•All PACS/groups listed are partisan
•1776 Project PAC is out of state, based in NY
•Elevate Life has a publicly funded charter school that operates on their property.
•Elevate Life, Sheila Craft (lead pastor wife) is the board president of the charter school.
•Elevate Life received close to $900k in PPP funds
•Elevate Life voter guide “violating this prohibition may result in denial or revocation of tax-exempt status and the imposition of certain excise taxes.”
This is not ok! This has never been ok!

I’m sure they will say the similarities here are “just a coincidence”…
Hyper-Partisan candidate, Jim Westerheid running for McKinney ISD (flyer on left)
Hyper-Partisan candidate, Jim Herblin running for Prosper ISD is Jim Westerheid’s campaign treasurer.
Hyper-Partisan PAC, Families 4 Frisco (flyer on right)
They are all working together! This is NOT a coincidence if you ask me! In fact, it comes off incredibly disingenuous!
This isn’t about Frisco.
This isn’t about McKinney.
This isn’t about Prosper.
This is about Hyper-Partisan politics, egos, and control!

There is a reason local is NOT partisan! PLEASE GET OUT AND VOTE!
