My family had me out in Fort Worth at the crack of dawn walking in the Rock of Ages 5k

I tried to get out of it because ya girl hadn’t walked in months thus I was not trained to do a 5k but I got out there and finished although it was a struggle. I@mean a HIGE struggle.

But I think going into the new month I need to get back to walking and moving my body. So tomorrow I’m gonna start my road to 31 miles in October!!

I work hard so that I can enjoy life just a little.

It’s been a full week since I attended the The R&B Tour and I am having withdrawals. I really enjoyed myself at this concert. it started off a bit hectic with rain but ended up being a great evening!!

This was also my first time having front row seats and they were well worth it!

The Plano Balloon Festival is happening this weekend so take the the family out to see some amazing big hot air balloons.

Enjoy over 30 huge colorful balloons in different shapes and sizes, live music, kid zone and fireworks! There will be a variety of food vendors to choose from.

Dates: September 17th - 20th

Tickets: $10 - Adult Ticket / $ 5 - Kids or Seniors

11 years ago today, I gave birth to my sonshine.

This child of mine has came in my life and stolen my entire heart. He is the most creative , imaginative, helpful, sweet kid I know. He plays hard but loves hard too. I enjoy seeing him try new things and doing so much more than I ever could have imagined. He continues to push me to be a better mom for him and for that I am forever grateful.

Happy Birthday my son may this year be greater than the last!
