What a beautiful day for our 6th Annual Frisco Lunar New Year Festival! 🏮✨⛩️

The event offered a taste of East Asia culture with food, fashion, vendors, music, performances, and even K-Pop! 🎶🇰🇷 The Year of the Fire Horse reminds us to be bold, move forward with purpose, and go after what sets our souls on fire. 🔥🐎

Big thanks to the Lunar NY team led by Megan Nguyen-Trinh, all the volunteers, and our Frisco community that makes space for every culture to be celebrated, and every person to feel they belong. Frisco is a global village, and we are fortunate to call it our home. 🌎🏡

Explore a taste of East Asian culture at the 6th Annual Frisco Lunar New Year Festival on Saturday Feb 7, 3-8pm outside City Hall! ⛩️✨🧧 The event is free to attend and family friendly!

It’s going to be a beautiful day to enjoy tasty Asian food & boba tea, live entertainment including K-pop and Lion dancers, a cultural fashion show, face painters, balloon artists, a lifesize Fire Horse for insta pics, and so much more! 🔥🐎🏮

I can honestly say that I’ve done my best as a voice for the arts community to be seen, heard, and valued, and I wouldn’t change a thing. It’s been a privilege to watch those seeds grow, and the remarks by Board President Suad Bejtovic brought me to tears. Grateful for the lifelong friendships I’ve made along the way! 💕

Auditions are now open for Universal Kids Resort- Frisco, Texas! 🤹🎭🎤

Seeking actors with live microphones, dancers, dancing costume characters, puppeteers and specialty acts including acrobats, jugglers, breakdancers and performers using ladders or stilts. Stage managers and costume assistants are also being cast.

Both full-time and part-time contracts are available, offering competitive hourly pay. Rehearsals are scheduled to begin in March 2026. Interested performers can find details and apply online at MetroTalentCasting.com.

The new Rollertown HQ includes a brewhouse, 2-story taproom, beer garden with food trucks and rooftop deck. The outdoor green space has an entertainment stage for live music, Monday Night football, community events, and so much more.

The arts exist outside of 4 walls, and the 8th Annual Frisco Arts Walk and Run proved that once again! 🎉🏆

800 runners and 20 arts organizations merged for an unforgettable taste of local music, dance, and visual art along the run route at HALL Park and an after party at Kaleidoscope Park North Texas. The rain held out for us and provided perfect cloud coverage! 🌤️

Thanks to everyone who organized, performed, volunteered, sponsored, and participated in this event. I know it’s a big sacrifice to show up at 5am on a Saturday to make it all happen. Your advocacy and support makes it grow every year! 🎶🎨🎭
