Great quote from Frisco Mayor Maher Maso about the importance of viewing transportation connectivity as something that can and should extend past the smart car. Read about their traffic light information system project in collaboration with Audi USA here >> http://ow.ly/76ep30bE4Po

The Most Important Day in Frisco!
The polls are now open and will remain open until 7PM tonight. I have reached term limits and Frisco must choose a new Mayor.
It has been truly an honor and privilege to represent the citizens of Frisco. I am humbled for the support I have received over the last nine years as we all worked together to make Frisco the best city in the country. Thank you for the trust you have placed in me.
I have worked closely with the two candidates that are seeking to be the next Mayor of Frisco. First and foremost, I am thankful for the service they have given to our community. I want to thank them for their previous service and wish them good luck tonight.
My choice for Mayor is clear: Bob Allen. There are many reasons I support Bob Allen for Mayor, but in the interest of keeping this note short, I will simply say that Bob is a true public servant and I am confident that every decision he will make will be in the best interest of all of Frisco.
Even more important, Bob has consistently shown his ethics and integrity are unimpeachable and I know that he will always put our residents first. Bob has only one special interest group: The Residents of Frisco. I am confident he is the right person to protect our community moving forward.
I hope you will join me and my family in supporting Bob Allen - Working Together for Frisco . It only takes a few minutes – please take the time to vote.

Frisco drivers, be aware of two traffic advisories this weekend! (Read the full post here: http://bit.ly/2piglkW)
1. Segments of northbound Dallas Parkway (and some adjoining roads) will be closed Saturday morning, 6:30 - 10 a.m., for the “Bike MS” bicycle ride. The ride starts at Dr Pepper Ballpark and then travels north on Dallas Parkway to US 380 and beyond.
2. Roads will be closed near Toyota Stadium Saturday and Sunday nights to move traffic out of Toyota Stadium and Frisco Square after each night of “Off the Rails”. Each night, the roads will be closed starting at 9:30 p.m. and should be open again at about midnight. Heading to the concerts? Save the Toyota Stadium exit routes map below!
