Clark Middle School is headed to Strikz Entertainment for a night of bowling, games, and FUN, all while raising money for our school!

📅 Friday, October 23 | 6–9 p.m.

💰 20% OF YOUR PURCHASES GO BACK TO CLARK!

Just tell the staff you're with Clark Middle School when you make your purchase, and 20% will go right back to supporting our Cougars!

🏆 OUR READ-A-THON CLASS CHAMPIONS! 🏆

These ILA classes READ BIG, RAISED BIG, and earned some serious bragging rights! 📚💰

Special shoutout to Barton 1/6 for sweeping BOTH 6th grade categories and Jenkins 5/8 for logging the most reading minutes of ANY class at Clark! 🤯

THE PRIZE: Each winning class has earned a SNACK PARTY during Cougar Den on Friday, October 16!

AND THEY'RE NOT PARTYING ALONE! Every student who raised $100 or more during our Read-A-Thon will be invited to join the celebration! 🎉

Congratulations to our winning classes, their teachers, and EVERY Cougar who helped make this Read-A-Thon one for the books!

🛒 PRIZE STORE = OPEN! 🛒

💰 Clark Middle School students who fundraised earned RAT Bucks equal to 15% of the donations they received, and those Bucks are ready to spend in the Read-A-Thon Prize Store!

⏰ BUT DON’T WAIT: The store closes Monday, Oct. 12, and once it closes, it’s CLOSED.

🐴📚 THEY READ TO A MINI HORSE.

Our top Read-A-Thon readers got a VERY special visitor Friday: Hero from Mini Hooves of Love Miniature Therapy Horses! 💛

Hero has dwarfism, loves being read to, and absolutely stole the show. Our Clark Middle School readers Arsh*tha, Natalie, Davleen, and Mokshagna took turns sharing books with him, giving him lots of love, and basically losing their minds over how adorable he is. 😂

Huge thank you to Mini Hooves of Love for giving our Cougars such an unforgettable way to celebrate all that reading, and for Mrs. Rivas for arranging this incredible prize!

🍩📚 THEY READ. THEY EARNED IT. THEY GOT DONUTS.

This morning, Clark Middle School’s Read-A-Thon readers who logged 600+ minutes packed the library for our Donut Lounge celebration! 🎉

We celebrated a whole lot of reading with Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, raffle prizes, and some very well-earned recognition for our top readers and fundraisers. 🏆

We are SO proud all the Cougars who picked up a book, logged their minutes, and helped make this Read-A-Thon such an incredible success. Together, they read nearly 300,000 minutes in 3 weeks! 💛

Huge thanks to our Clark staff, families, volunteers, and community partners who helped us celebrate our readers + raisers along the way. We couldn't do anything without y'all!

Now THAT’S a Community Partner. 💥

Our CiCis Spirit Night raised an incredible $1,000 for Clark Middle School! 🎉

🏆 And congratulations to Mrs. George’s 8th Grade Cougar Den, our CiCis Spirit Night Cougar Den contest winner! They’ll get to celebrate with a CiCi’s Pizza Party during Cougar Den in the near future!

PLUS, our Gold Level Community Partner, Cicis Pizza has donated 3 Piezillas as Read-A-Thon prizes and special discount cards for our staff.

We can't thank you enough, CiCis Pizza, for showing up BIG for our Cougars! 💛🍕
