We wanted to share this awesome collaboration between the Dr. David M. Gillespie Special Collections and Dr. Amy Armiento's Spring 2026 ENG 376 class. Students were asked to transcribe a diary written by a young man from Frostburg in 1918. We don't know who this individual is, if you have any ideas, please let us know! Follow his story as he completes his teaching assignment, moves back home to Frostburg, and joins the US Army (likely) to fight overseas in WWI.
